A long weekend family trip with friends, turned out to be a great location for filming, we rented a recently restored 1840s log farmhouse, that sat on 70 acres. It was about an hour and a half drive from Toronto, but turned out to be a very different place from the hectic metropolis, that we call home. All that rustic charm just yearned to be filmed, and you would be hard pushed to point any camera and take a bad image.
I wanted to use this opportunity, to spend more time with two new camera acquisitions, my A7rii and FS5. I’ve been getting to know these two for a couple of months now, and to have some creative freedom, with the absence of tight timelines, was an opportunity not to be passed up.
